Supporting Access to The Arts
Welcome to The Zich Trust
The Zich Trust is a Registered Scottish Charity established in 2006 by our Founder, Pat Zich. The trust is dedicated to transforming the lives of young people worldwide. Our core mission is to empower young individuals by fostering self-confidence, assisting them in overcoming various challenges and disabilities, and nurturing essential life skills such as collaboration, self-awareness, and empathy. We achieve this through supporting dynamic and immersive experiences in the performing arts, which we believe are a powerful medium for personal and communal growth.
We award substantial grants on a bi-annual basis, actively seeking applications from both organisations and individuals. These grants are specifically designed to support performing arts-based initiatives that align with our mission.
How we support young people
The Zich Trust firmly believes in the power of the performing arts to inspire, challenge, and transform. You are invited to join us in this exciting journey to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people across the globe. Apply for a grant today and help us turn creative visions into reality.
We are particularly keen to fund projects that use the performing arts as a tool for empowerment and positive change. Therefore, we encourage applications from underrepresented groups and communities.
Our aim is to create opportunities that are accessible to all, regardless of background or ability. We have previously provided financial support for the following types of activities:
Innovative performances, workshops and events
Performing arts lessons, training or other learning experiences
Arts-based cultural experiences
Community-based arts initiatives
Experimental or prototype arts experiences.
